reflux question

how do you know to ask to have baby checked for reflux? Dd is 4 months old and for the past month or two she has been spitting up so much for a good hour after each feeding. Sometimes its only a little liquid and sometimes it just covers everything and is extremely chunky. She has started getting rashes on her face from the spit up. She never seems in any pain though.

  • If he's not in any pain, no big deal. Spit up is normal... are you BFing? You can take a look at your diet, but no guarantee it will help anything.

  • My youngest had it. It bothered her so much though she could not sleep laying flat. Even elevating the head of her bassinet didnt work. She had to sleep up in her bouncy seat for the first 3 mo of her life. If you layed her flat at all she spit up all over.
