Can they crawl? Feed themselves? Hold own bottle? Walk? etc... I need to know if my son is developing normally

  • Comparing your child to others isnt going to tell you if he is "developing normally" If you have concerns you need to talk to his dr.

  • All kids develop differently... are there any specific things you are concerned about?
But, my son scoots (don't think he's going to crawl, he's too good at scooting), cruises, pulls-up, stands for a few second, feeds himself... we don't do bottles, but he can and will hold a sippy... drinking from it is a different story, though! :) He also says 3 words.

  • crawls, pullsup, feeds finger foods, holds bottle, hold sippy. not very good at drinking the sippy. tries to cruise. but every baby is so different. no worries. she also yells sometimes and it sounds like mama. not sure though.

  • my dd crawls (like a maniac), pulls herself up ON EVERYTHING, feeds herself finger foods, and can hold her bottle, but she doesn't cause I think she's lazy. She's starting to mimic everything, and can say da da, ma ma, ba ba, they aren't associated with meaning yet. She's learning cause and effect, and stranger anxiety is emerging. All babies develop at diff. rates, I'm sure your baby is doing just fine! This is such a fun age, Enjoy it! I can still remember when she was just a tiny thing...:P
