What do you buy for a 7 year old boy?

My neighbor invited us to their child's bday party, he turns 7. My son is only a toddler, so toddlers I know. What is a good and reasonably priced gift idea for a 7 year old boy?
Thanks a lot!

  • We just had to by Christmas gifts for a 7 year old boy. He liked those mini skateboard things. I guess you use your fingers to skateboard with them. I had never heard of them before but they seemed popular. Diaries of Wimpy Kid or something like that. Club Penguin puffles. Gumy earbuds.

  • The above answers are good, also a football, basketball or soccer ball? In my house we could never get enough balls.

  • Legos. It's all my son has gotten the last 2 Christmases and birthdays. He's 8. It's the one toy he has that gets the most play time.

  • My sons like that mini skateboard too but I don't know where you get them. A friend got him his. Legos. You can buy the City car or garbage truck for around ten bucks. Also Bakugon, anything Star Wars, Bionicle or Transformer.

  • My 7 year old son would be content with the entire Lego aisle of Toys R Us. ;) He's smitten with Lego Bionicles, but also collects the Space Police & Secret Agent sets and is drooling over the new Atlantis stuff. Based on his friends? I'd say you can't go wrong with Legos.

He also is happy with anything Bakugan or Pokemon.

  • Transformers suck. My ds got some they are nothing like the old ones both my bro and I agree they are too hard to transform and break too easily other than that...
bakugan or CVS had some remote control trucks for $10. A cool shirt or set of pants. Sports stuff. Haven't seen those skateboards ds is 6 and hasn't mentined them yet.
BAKUGAN -- seems to be hit everywhere.
