I have had BV twice so far this pregnancy (although I'm not sure it was even treated correctly the first time now that I've read up on it) and I'm freaking out because I think it's either back...or it just doesn't go away! I know it's BV and I've been tested for everything else under the sun (plus my symptoms don't match any STD anyhow...but they still tested me three times!)...and it's fairly common in pregnancy. My doctors keep shrugging it off and saying "pff, no big deal...stop worrying" but I keep reading about it and how it can cause preterm labor blah blah. I have an appt this Monday anyway, so I intend to have a discussion on it then...but has anyone else with with this during pregnancy? Did ur doctors seem concerned? Anyone know how OFTEN it causes preterm labor or rupture of membranes if you have it treated???
