What is your absolute favorite appetizer recipe?

I have a few of my favorites but am looking for some more to add to my arsenal. Please tell me your absolute favorite appetizer, anything from dips to finger foods. I browse around online and like trying new recipes but the best ones are the ones that people stick to and are asked to bring to get togethers. Thanks!!

  • Bacon wrapped water chestnuts.

    1 lb bacon
    2 cans water chestnuts
    1 cup ketchup
    1 cup brown sugar

Wrap 1/3 strip of bacon around a water chestnut and secure with a toothpick. Place wrapped chesnuts in a shallow baking dish. Combine ketchup and brown sugar in a sauce pan and cook over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Pour mixture on top of wrapped chestnuts and bake at 350 degrees for one hour.

  • Bacon wrapped, cheese stuffed jalapenos.
Slice your jalapenos in half, fill with your choice of cheese, wrap with bacon and bake at 375 until bacon is as crisp as you like it.
