  • Yes it worked all 3 times for us.

For a girl you want to have sex a few days before you ovulate and then NOT have sex on the day you ovulate. Also I think having sex in a regular positiion. This worked for us. I used ovulation sticks to know. We did have a girl.

For a boy having sex on the day you ovulate and doing it doggy style or something helps. It worked for us. We then had a boy.

  • i've heard that if you have had more than one of a certain gender you are more likely to have another of the same gender due to the pH levels. not sure the details or how true but that's what i've heard. good luck!

  • Well these are some of the things I was told to conceive a boy. Food: Mom have a higher calorie intake before you conceive. Eat lots of red meats and salty snacks. It has been found that a females ovum actually chooses which sperm is allowed to fertilize it. Dad drink coffee or caffeinated soda / energy drink 30 mins before the deed. It actually stimulates sperm. Sex: Man on top missionary or doggy style the deeper penetration the better. Orgasm before and after he does the spasms force sperm further up there. Timing: Do it the day of ovulation. Also do not have sex the day before or after ovulation.

  • Don't know if you know if this website but there is a wealth of knowledge and stuff to read up on here: www.in-gender.com

I didn't go all out ttc a girl this time but did take some supplements and tried to go by the moon's cycles/phases (was doing fertility meds so it was a little easier to manipulate ovulation/conception day). The things I did were more superstitious things lol But I did keep my pH low, which wasn't hard because apparently it's low normally.

I'm 9 wks now and hopefully will get an idea of gender at the 13wk NT scan (using "nub" theory..explained on in-gender). This is my last child also and after having a son and losing my baby girl 5 months ago, I am desperate to have a little girl!

But, ultimately it's up to nature! Some women go by the book on ttc a certain gender and get the opposite so it's not fool proof....but hey, I'll try anything!

  • I used the Shettle's method and got my boy first and girl second. It has nothing to do with ph levels but rather timing of sex. Good luck. I am not sure what other tricks you mean, but that is all we used was Shettle's.
