2 month old slobbering/drooling

What does this mean? It just started. Does it mean he's ready to teeth? Sorry! First time mom here!

  • My son drooled forever. It probably started around two months but the drooling didn't stop until he was over a year old! He still drools when he's playing real hard and he's 3! lol It is a sign of teething but doesn't necessarily mean baby will start soon. I always kept a bib on him so his clothes would get soaked (cold weather + wet shirt = sick baby)

  • Quite possibly. My DD's two bottom front teeth came in at 2 months. If ur nursing, watch out. Most will bite if left on too long. It could also mean nothing. Sorry to sound confusing. Some kids just drool alot for no reason. My godson was like that and didn't cut a tooth until 10 mos. Just keep an eye on him. Some teethers also run a mild fever, but not over 100.5. If it is, call the doc.
