  • usually i make him either a pb and banana sandwich ( i know ure not supposed to but he loves it) also i do pizza english muffins.. u know take an english muffin some sauce and cheese.. my 2 yr old loves to put the cheese on.. he actually even adores rice so i mix some frozen veggies in there too so he gets that. i also occasionally do the chicken nugget thing ( the perdue ones are great) like we all do when things get nuts... another good recipe i has is if u take some zucchini slice it up toss it in some olive oil and then bread them with bread crumbs and parmesan cheese and bake them at 350 until golden theyre like chips.. my husband who hates veggies even eats them!

  • Sometimes when I am trying to get my two year old to eat, I eat something while I sit on the floor. And he worse than a begging dog. Pretend like you don't want to share. I do it with vegetable soup. And he ends up eating the whole thing. :)

hummus mixed with a hard boiled egg, with carrot sticks and whole grain crackers
whole wheat tortilla with refried beans, cheese and avocado
whole grain pasta and steamed vegetables with marinara, cheese sauce or peanut sauce
fried rice: brown rice stir-fried with vegetables, ginger, soysauce, and a scrambled egg

  • My son loves yogurt, cucumber slices, cottage cheese, fish sticks, celery w/ peanut butter, hardboiled eggs, any kind of jelly, sweet potato fries, pasta of any variety, noodle soup, broccoli, and goldfish crackers (I buy the whole-grain variety). His lunches usually consist of some mix of these foods.
