  • Wow. That seems like a lot. ALWAYS nurse first. THEN offer solids. I usually say to follow cues when it comes to solid feeding at this age but it DOES seem like a lot. Try nursing first, he may cut back a bit on the solids.

  • my doctor said to make sure my son gets 24-26 ounces of formula a day, and then feed him a fruit & cereal for breakfast, and dinner & a veggie or meat with no cereal for lunch. hes 7 months too. and to give him water also. i give him his water in a sippy cup or right out a bottle. only bottled water or nursery water.

  • Nurse first solids second. And feed the baby real food, not the jarred stuff which doesn't have as much nutritional value or fiber. http://www.babyledweaning.com/

  • Nurse first. Solids after. Solids are not as caloric as breastmilk...that may be why he seems to be so hungry! Tank him up first. There's no such thing as too little solids...but there is a such thing as too much and right now you're about at that point.
