  • The liquor store usually has boxes. They aren't "real moving boxes" but if you are in a pinch they will do, they are actually pretty sturdy. Banana boxes at the grocery store are good too. U-haul sells them I don't know how much though.

  • How about free??
Call your local Wal-Mart & ask for the 3 shift assistant manager. Ask them if they can pile you some good moving boxes overnight (they should know what type... grocery ones are best & that is when they re-stock) at the site - to- store area. You will have to go in EARLY to get them, but they should do it for you!

  • Go to grocery stores, department stores, etc early (and I do mean RIGHT when they open) in the morning. Ask at the customer service desk and they'll be able to get some for you.

Lowe's sells them, U-Haul, Home Depot, Walmart..

  • we always hit liquer stores the are good boxes also you can use good broken down boxes by just retaping them with packing tape ( its cheep and if you get the 'gun" its real fast mine cost about 25 for four rolls and the gun and 10 yrs later i still have tape.) they are good for light things like clothes and stuffed animals. Also try and find a local avon rep thoes are the BEST boxes to move with and they always have some.
