  • A pound a week is about average so it sounds like you're doing fine. Try to eat healthy foods but under no circumstances should you be dieting. Your body craves what it needs so listen to it. You have plenty of time once the baby is born to get rid of unwanted pounds...plus, if you breast feed, you'll drop the weight quickly. Congrats!

  • You gained about 27 lbs in five months. That sounds about right.
However, it depends on your body and what your OB thinks is healthy for you to gain.
    Talk to your OB.

  • I always heard and read that 25-35lbs weight gain during the whole of your pregnancy was ideal and healthy. I'm sure a little over won't hurt either since every BODY is different. But yeah, you need to ask your doctor. Also remember that when you are pregnant you are not "eating for two" as people like to say. You need about 300 extra calories a day, but that's like the equivalent of an apple and a yogurt. So make sure you are eating healthy no matter what!

  • What is your height?

The 25-35 lbs range if for people of normal height/ weight. Now if 110 is underweight for your height, then you might be able to gain a lot more very safely.

You could be retaining water which may make you feel fat and bloated when you are not at all. Walking 30 minutes every day will help you flush excess fluid and keep gas down.
