Do you ever feel guilty?

When someone posts here looking for help to make money when they're struggling, do you ever regret giving them your affiliate link knowing full well it will never support them and probably won't even cover their diapers for a month, but that you'll get paid for them looking into it?

  • I think its not right if you know this...however with that said, you only get paid if they make a purchase. If someone makes money soley on them looking at your site or signing up,then I think thats illegal.

  • What kind of a decent person would use a mother in need by offering her help knowing they couldn't actually provide any?

  • If I am going to go on these purported paid websites, I never enter an affiliate ID so they don't get credit. I sign up on my own. Call me mean, but I know most of them are scams, but some of them pay off after a few months.

No, it's perfectly legal. It's pay per mille affiliate marketing. Same goes for the MLM marketers, who get paid for people who sign up to sell whatever garbage they're selling, even though they recommend it knowing the only way the people who sign up will make any money is buy getting more people to sign up because nobody wants to buy the stuff.
