Clearly I'm a little slow but what is DD, DH, DS and on and on?

I keep seeing these and I believe DD is daughter although I'm not sure why?

  • It doesn't mean you're slow hun. CM lingo takes a little bit to catch on to. DH is dear husband, DD is dear daughter, DS is dear son, MIL is mother in law, SIL is sister in law, DSD is dear step daughter, etc. Hope this helps, and if you get stumped, don't be afraid to ask! The only stupid question is the one that goes unasked. Happy New Year!
