What types of excercise are still doable the last couple months of pregnancy?

  • strength training & weight lifting for your arms & legs, walking, and low impact cardio like the elliptical machine.

  • I was told by my doctor that anything that does not put you on your back is fine and as long as you are not lifting anything more than 15 lbs regularly. Also be sure not to over do anything because that can cause early labor and drink plenty of fluids because dehydration can cause early labor as well. Just remember you are close to the time when you can work out to your hearts content so try and take it easy you need to rest that little one is going to keep you on your toes.

  • Just about anything that you have been doing. If you haven't been exercising you would need to take it easy and build up very slowly - swimming is great exercise while pregnant!

  • They have some great pregnancy exercise tapes. Try your library and see if they have any.
