Woman Gives Birth, Serves Christmas Dinner an Hour Later

A pregnant mother gave birth moments after starting to prepare her Christmas dinner — and was back home in time to serve it up.

She continued to baste the turkey in the oven until the contractions were just three minutes apart.

Her husband Damian, 32, took her to hospital and daughter Lexi was born one hour later.

She was back home in St Austell, Cornwall, a little more than an hour after giving birth — eating dinner and toasting the new arrival.

Could YOU do this??? I mean I know I felt pretty good pretty quick but I dont think I was THIS good! LOL

  • Crazy. But that post-birth appetite probably helped a little.

  • No way, I was very sick and on seizure watch with my son. Now maybe if I wasn't so sick and had a natural childbirth like I wanted then yeah maybe.

  • Maybe if my kids just fell out that quickly and was just fine. I guess I would rather be home that in the hospital, it would depend on how I felt at the time.

  • I didn't think a hospital would discharge both the mother AND child an hour or so later--and WHY would she want them to?!
