im 36 weeks prego and just started leaking creamy white milk. i have leaked the clear stuff... do i need to be worried about actual milk loss? i have an appt. tuesday but i was just curious if others had the same experience

  • Colostrum comes first so you are not losing milk supply. You are fine.

  • It might have changed appearance, but still-- no matter.
    Once you deliver, your body will begin the transition from colostrum to milk. It will take a few days.

  • 100% normal. Colostrum can look many different ways, from yellow to white to clear, any of which is normal. It will change sometimes, and it will change again a couple of days after deliver as it goes from colostrum to milk.
    Milk works on a supply and demand basis; there's no limit to what you can make. Try not to stress, and know that what you are experiencing is normal.
