Are you eating pork and saurkraut today?

Another post got me thinking if this is a northern thing because I've seen people from the south saying they are eating black eyed peas instead...

So what are you eating today and what state do you live in?

  • FL but I don't think about the food traditions of the day. I'll just eat whatever is in the kitchen.

  • I'm from Pennsylvania and never had pork and saurkraut on New Years. Since I've moved we have had Irish neighbors in New Jersey and ate corned beef and cabbage with them. I'm in South Carolina now and have no special dinner plans today.
