  • It is difficult, but not impossible. A car helps tremendously. I would drop my kid off at daycare and drive to work. It helps if you work early, so you can leave early.

  • it's difficult. Do you work from home and take care of your child at the same time or do you go to work and pay someone else? They are both difficult alternatives esp. when childcare is so expensive.

  • You need to find an affordable daycare that is open when you are working. If you work primarily nights and weekends, then you need to find a trusted family member, friend or neighbor to watch your child while you work. With the cost of daycare centers being rather high (for regular full-time care), you might be surprised at how many less expensive babysitters there are working out of their or YOUR home--most are low key and don't advertise--you need to ask around.

  • depends on what time you work and such. right now i work two days a week split shifts so i drop her off at daycare and she is picked up by my parents on mondays and thursdays. tuesday they take and pick up and then wednesday i am off so i get all the other stuff down with her. then friday usually they take and pick up and then i pick her up from their place. so its so much easier if u have family around. but yet again i am a single mother so i couldn;t do it with out them. on saturdays i work and they take care of her. it is possible. just a little planning in the am. we have a very good routine at the moment so if u need any ideas let me know. good luck.
