Why do women miscarry?

  • becouse there body isnt ready for it. ive had one and about 8 months later i got prego and had a healthy baby girl. it isnt anything that u can prevent, just means that ur body wasnt ready to carry a baby.

  • Different reasons. Sometimes there is a physical reason like an incompetent cervix, sometimes the baby may be imperfect (having some sort of deformity), sometimes there is no known reason. More women than you would think have had miscarriages, and in fact many women will have had very early miscarriages and not realised it, just chalked it up to a late or skipped period.

  • Sometimes the hormones are night right and your body will not be able to handle the pregnancy. As one of the posters have said, many women do not even know that they have had miscarraiages. I have a friend that had 17 miscarraiges before getting one to stick. She has a son now (this was years ago) and they never figures out why she was miscarring so much, like I said, this was years ago.
