If you have an eight month old... much does s/he weigh?

If you don't, do you remember how much your baby weighed at eight months?

I'm just curious. My daughter weighs 21 lbs at eight months...does that sound too chunky to you?

  • im tiny and so is my SO so my baby is 91/2 months and only weighs 19.5lbs which I thought was crazy small but my doctor reassured me was normal for her... hmmmmm. i just think all babies r different and i love little chubby ones :) It also depends on how big they were born i think on the weight gain scale.

  • Remember, it's ok for babies to be a little chubby. And you have to consider length when deciding if a weight seems "chunky"

  • Try and look up her height and weight percentiles and see if she is within normal range? If the Dr's not concerned I wouldn't be either.

  • Well my baby is only 7 months and weighs 27 lbs he's also 30 inches long and was born at 10 lbs. If the doctor isn't worried or concerned I wouldn't worry to much.
