my daughter is 11 months old and ive notice for about a month or less that she has dandruff...why does she have it so it okay if i use head and shoulders for her?? what else is good to use for babys with dandruff.

  • It is very unusual for a baby to have dandruff, it is more likely dry skin, or cradle cap---are the flakes white? Dry skin, Yellow and bigger? Cradle cap, for both you can use Burt's bees apricot oil,, it works amazing and is not harsh,,,Head and Shoulders is for greasy dandruff, and would burn her eyes, good luck Mom!

  • You can also just use plain old olive oil in your kitchen cabinet! Then rinse thoroughly. A little tea tree oil would help too. You should also check your baby wash to see that it's not contributing by drying the scalp. I'd be happy to share about the safer products we use.
