how do you wing your baby off your brest

he won't take the bottle he will chew on the nipple he won't suck i need help

  • Try a different bottle..Playtex Drop In System with the natural latch nipple worked for me. Also...try having someone else give the bottle...he knows you have the good stuff and just won't give it up...he might take it from someone else. Or, depending on baby's age, you could skip the bottle and move straight to a sippy cup.

  • My older 3 would never take bottles after breastfeeding exclusively for a year. Switch straight to a sippy - let him practice with it at snack times and then when he gets proficient with it, switch it out for one feeding/day.

  • Gradually. How old is he? You may be able to skip the bottle. Generally, you should replace one nursing session per week with formula until you are finished. More details would help us help you.
