DO WEDDING VOWS MEAN NOTHING TO THESE PEOPLE?

I am SO SICK of reading the "I cheated on my husband" questions and posts in here. Women cheat and then come in here looking for advice or sympathy or worst of all, kudos for what they've done. They give a multitude of excuses as to why they did it (I was drunk, DH doesn't give me enough attention anymore..BLAH BLAH). I don't understand why women think it's ok to cheat if they aren't happy? IF YOU AREN'T HAPPY LEAVE YOUR HUSBAND! You took VOWS, whether civil or religious, to be ONLY with your DH when you got married. You should be ASHAMED if you cheat and NOT expect to come in here and have other married women tell you what you did was ok for whatever reason. Expect to be called various unpleasant names, and to be told you should be ashamed. OR KEEP IT TO YOURSELF! Bash me all you want for this question because those that will are the ones that will cheat and your opinions mean squat to me.....

  • I was in a relationship and cheated on and like mrs owen guess what i dont cheat either and if my DH were to cheat he knows he better show himself the door because otherwise i will probably be beating him over the head with it. When i was being cheated on it had NOTHING to do with emotional needs he was just a dirt bag who liked to sleep around and after me he managed to cheat on on his wife, then his 2nd wife and from what i hear just lost another fiance due to cheating, emotional needs my rear he is a scum bag.

Yes i realize that some people cheat out of emotional reason that still doesnt make it right and wont have me sitting here thinking oh you poor soul you were hurt so you hurt someone else poor you, nope i dont encourage it and i will tell anyone who cheats that they need to leave if they are not happy. If your emotional needs are not being met what happen to communication in relationships? use your voice not sex!

  • I understand what you are saying. I have sit here and scratched my head after some of them threads. I have never understood why someone would think it's ok to cheat on their spouse. I took my vows to heart when I said "I Do". I have heard people say marriage is just a piece of paper, but I don't buy that for a second.

  • I see more of women coming on here complaining that there DH went out and cheated on them for the 10 time and they don't want to leave the loser cause he said "HE LOVES ME" . I really don't see to many women saying they cheated but hey if you come on here and you cheated or he cheated then DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. Don't come on here bitching cause you can't keep your legs close or your DH can't keep his shit in his pants. My DH is faithful and I am faithful and when we said the vows WE MEANT EVERY SINGLE WORD OF IT...........

  • I agree, It seems like there have been so many of them lately! The one that really ticked mw off was a week or two ago and the girl had just had her baby and then cheated becuase her SO wouldnt have sex with her yet and she wanted it. I just sat here thinking , okay you brought a child into this world with some you love and THIS is how you treat them?

I dont see how bragging about the cheating is going to somehow lead to applause, but these women seriously believe that they wont get bashed! Never would I cheat on my Dh ,and the post i see about hubbys cheating and the women who want to stay OMG dont get me started, if you stay then guess what you deserve the heartache you bring upon yourselves its not the 1950's we dont need a man to live our lives and be happy! ARRGGHHHH see now you got me all fired up and mad lol.

  • OP here I also agree about the women coming in saying DH cheated "but I love him..." Lord girl if my DH cheated on my I would be packing his stuff and leaving it outside the door the second I found out. Of COURSE you don't instantly stop loving someone just because they were unfaithful but damn you don't keep forgiving them and taking them back like you're some sort of doormat for him to wipe his dirty cheating feet on! ARGH!

Ladies, I am so glad you think the same way as me...I was starting to feel like I was alone in my "old fashioned" thinking LMFAO....thanks all!

  • i hate people like that..
I'm a firm believer in VOWS. once you make them, you don't break them... it's not just words and a piece of paper..
I made a vow from a promise ring that I will not leave my son's father and whatnot.. and he made the same to me.. what happens?? he cheated on me, and that to me is a break in the promise so I left him and he had the nerves to go off on me talking about I broke a promise... wtf??? I don't want to be with a guy who can cheat on me and have no remorse for it!
and now he's never around his son and he's almost 4 months old.. haven't seen him since he was 2 weeks old.. I stood my ground and told him, if he REALLY wanted to see his son as he said he did.. he would've done anything to come near the boy.. and what does he do for it? nothing... he thinks I should go out my way to bring nathan around him... please.. I have more important things to do than to worry about HIM

  • I agree, I think if you want to sleep around then DONT get married. Simple as that. It makes me sick to see how many women are proud of cheating on the person they supposedly love.
