Need to know what the stockinette kniting stitch is..ie.knit row,purl row?

  • Yes. It is knit a row, purl a row. You just keep repeating those two rows of stitches.

  • Knit one row completely, the purl one row completely.
    I find it handy to have a tag on one of the needles, and then always knit onto that needle, then you never loose track :)
    Once you get used to it, you'll be fine :) Good luck
