  • If you have some stewed tomatoes, onions, garlic, basil and black olives you can make a tasty dinner. Grill or bake the chicken with garlic, salt and pepper. In a saute pan cook the garlic and onion until translucent and add the tomatoes. Add basil and cook for 10 minutes add chicken to pan and cook five more minutes. serve over the penne. So yummy and EASY!

  • if you have olive oil you can make a garlic soil glaze with grilled chicken penne pasta. I agree too if you have any cream o soups you can use that as a sauce. Good luck

  • Do you have olive oil? You can pan fry the chicken and cut into strips. Boil the penne. While the penne is boiling, saute chopped or sliced garlic in a couple tablespoons of olive oil and a stick of butter. Be careful to not burn the garlic. Once the butter gets foamy, turn it off. When pasta is done, drain. Toss with the garlic oil/butter and chicken. You can throw the peas in the pasta water the last few minutes of cooking. Add parmesan cheese, salt and pepper to taste.

  • Still hungry? If you've got peppers, an onion, milk, cheese and some peapods or broccoli florets on hand you can make this fast, simple cheesy chicken penne. http://tinyurl.com/schwanschickenpasta
