I have an 8 month old lil girl and she isnt crawling yet just wondering if that normal?

  • Not all babies crawl. It isn't a milestone. Some babies butt scoot, go backwards, army crawl, shimmy, or just get up one day and walk. All normal,

  • She's fine. Let her develop at her own pace. She will crawl when she's ready.

  • she gets like on her fours alot and she rocks herself back and forth but when i hold her and stand her up she tries to take steps while im holding her so what does that mean..

  • Crawling is not a daughter crawled at almost 9 months and walked at 11. She's fine.

    It means she's exercising her muscles and learning how to use them.
    In other words, she's normal!
    If she is going to crawl or walk she'll do it all on her own,
    Babies are smart like that :)

  • thanks for yalls advice i was really concerned with that thanks it made me feel alot better and she also moves her mouth alot but nothing really comes out..

  • DD crawled at 9 1/2 mos, and DS actually didn't crawl until 11 mos. Kids like to make you crazy, throw you for a loop so to speak.

  • Completelyt normal. Some babies don't ever crawl.
