looking for a pasta salad recipe can anyone help

iam looking for a pasta recipe
eveyone i get i dont like but iam open minded if i can replace a veggie with something i would

  • This was on a box of diced mixed veggies I bought at Costco (green beans, carrots and corn. I bought the veggies to throw in soups and stews, but could not resist this recipe:

    1 cup uncooked spiral or bow pasta
    1 12oz bag Bybee Foods Organic Garden Trio
    4 diced Roma tomatoes (I use halved grape tomatoes)
    1/2 cup finely chopped scallions (I use a sweet onion)
    1/2 cups feta cheese, crumbled

    Dressing:
    2 Tbl chopped red onion (again, I use a sweet onion)
    2 cloved finely chopped garlic
    4 Tbl olive oil
    1 Tlb white vinegar
    2 Tbl water
    1 Tbl finely chopped thyme
    1 Tbl finely chopped basil
    (instead of the two above, I use 2 Tbl herbs d'Provence)
    fresh ground pepper to taste

    Cook pasta, drain and rinse with cold water. Cook Garden Trio vegetables as directed (I used a covered glass dish in the microwave) and cool.

  • Combine ingredients for dressing, whisking in olive oil last. Combine ingrediets, toss with dressing, sprinkle with scallions and feta.

  • My favorite one I cook all the time is just spiral pasta, sliced black olives and italian dressing (i make my own italian dressing). Simple and yummy!

  • pasta noodles of your choice... cook as directed and cooled by running under cold water and drained
    red/green/yellow pepper ... your choice of one, none or all ... diced
    onion (opt) diced
    green olives
    Italian dressing...
    mix all above together and let set for 30 minutes in frig... may need extra dressing later if desired...


    or

    Your choice pasta (I use shells) done the same as above
    3-5 canned meat (chicken/turkey are good ones) chopped fine
    green olives or black pitted (again your choice)
    Miracle whip with olive oil blend dressing....
    in this you can add or take out whatever veggie you wish too...
    I have taken out peas, and put in red peppers diced up...
    chop onions, peas, fresh green beans, yellow or red pepper are good...

    a pasta salad can be done anyway you want taking or adding whatever you
    like or dislike from it...just by using the basics of a pasta salad...

  • Something simple and healthy that I just made for my DD is whole wheat pasta and cottage cheese. Just quickly add the desired amount to unrinsed hot pasta. The cheese gets melty. My DD refuses to drink milk so this is one of my go to meals to get some calium in her.

  • I don't use a recipe, I just cook spiral pasta and toss with chopped turkey pepperoni, black olives, grape tomatoes, cubed cheese and italian dressing. You can also add chopped cucumber.

  • I love any kind of pasta salad all these sound so good. Try a southwestern one. Drain a can of black beans, cook a box of tri-color rotini and rinse, thaw some frozen corn kernels (or drain a can of corn), chop some red and green bell peppers, slice up some green onion tops, chop a tomato, combine it all. Mix up some ranch and salsa you can add cumin if you like. Toss to coat. Add some chicken if you so desire.

  • Cook a pound of rotini pasta until al dente. Let cool. Add small, bite sized pieces of carrots, cucumbers, green pepper, grape tomato halves, broccoli. I add cheese cubes cut in quarters and pepperoni (you can get turkey pepperoni and low fat cheese). I add a bottle of low fat or fat free Parmesan Peppercorn Ranch dressing or any flavor or ranch dressing you like. Season with whatever seasonings you like.
