is a high protein diet safe during pregnancy?

  • well i guess it depends on what you mean by high protein diet. you do in fact need a lot of protein during pregnancy but you should also eat lots of veggies, fruits, whole grains. you can find a lot of good info on diet during pregnancy online but here are a couple of examples

  • I had gestational diabetes, so I was kinda limited in what I ate as far as carbs go - I ended up eating a lot of protein! I'm not sure how much when you say "high" but I definitely ate a lot!

  • Talk with your doc about it( is there a specific reason your on it?) I try to vary all the different kind of foods I eat
