  • Umm That guy talking was a war resistor. You would expect him to give the army and what they do a glowing report?
Gee After seeing that I guess we should all believe our military is just a bunch of cruel corrupt murderers. (kinda sounds like congress lol)
I don't know what your point is but what is your solution?

  • Thanks for the heads up momof03 and itmesteph! I am not interested in military bashing.

  • YourSpecial I don't believe that this was a attempt to bash military. More to show the effect of war and how the everyday people are effected by it. Things said in this video are true, With chemicals used on these people. Look up the battle of fallajuh. It was devasting to these poor people, it was a massive massacre on these people, civilians that had nothing to do with this war.

It shows how some of the military men treated and abused the people of Iraq. All of which was documented, and those military personal punished. Its fact, not bashing.

My father is a korean war vet, and Im not way anti military, but truth is truth. My dad was exposed to Agent Orange and this country denies its use during the war. The government don't care about its people and damn sure don't care who it hurts in the time of war.

  • ANY WHO...what I said was that I didnt have 10 full min to watch a propaganda film but that the part that I did watch was a JOKE. There was a soldier being interviewed about Abu Ghraib and they CLEARLY cut out parts they didnt want played. There are people in every line of work that are dissatisfied with their jobs. Joining the military is a choice, no one is drafted and they dont sign up for life! When they come up for it they can get out! But this is just a very small sampling and it IS a propaganda piece :)

Answer by momof030404 at 7:17 PM on Jan. 4, 2010

  • Ha that is the most inaccurate BS I have ever watched! This is what made me stop watching the video because inaccurate BULLSHIT like this discredits the WHOLE thing! It said 51% of your tax dollars goes to the military. That is NOT true! That number came from the war resisters league which is an anti military group that PURPOSEFULLY leave medicare, medicaid, and SS out of their study to get that number. Truthfully Defense / Military only get 20%. If you add Medicaid, medicare, and SS % to the defense you remarkable get 51 since 31% of your tax money goes to those programs.

  • Well Chrissy say what you want, but this video was dead on accurate with the atrocities against the people of Iraq. Aside for the tax dollars issue, I haven't studied it or researched it. The war in Iraq was/is wrong and the people of that country did/ does deserve the same dignity you, I and others deserve. I don't support the Iraq war.

Just a few incidents to the Iraqi civilians, besides the Abu Ghraib prisioners

Answer by WhoCares224 at 8:05 PM on Jan. 4, 2010

  • Well why don't you hear it from those from Iraq.

Answer by Crissy1213 at 8:14 PM on Jan. 4, 2010

  • Hear what from the Iraqis? If you listen to the Iraqi's you would hear that the things done to their people by the hands of the liberators where at atrocitious. The supposed purpose of being in Iraq after there was no "WMD" was because of Saddam and the torture on his people. How does it look when the us was suppose to be liberators and some that were sent did the same as Saddam himself?

The Iraqi people are grateful for the US taking Saddam out, but now they want the US to leave. Ask a Iraqi citizen if you know any, they will tell you.
