  • Probably a travel agency. I searched online for a ticket for dh to come home from Korea and I was looking at about $1400. He got his ticket through an agency there for $1000.

But I would do both, call some agencies and search and compare!

  • I would suggest comparing both. I like myself. A travel agent gets a percentage, so I would assume buying online would be cheaper.

  • I'd go with a reputable agent. I got stuck in Amsterdam one time bc the online company didn't pay for my ticket and there was no one answering their phone! It wasn't a great experience

  • Last time we flew, we searched online and couldn't find much, went to a travel agent and got 4 round-trip tickets, for 4 adults, for just a smidge over $800 total (so $200 each) including the agent's $50/each fee! Hubby just flew to Texas and found tickets online, but I'm wishing now he'd have called an agent to try to find something cheaper.

  • If you will not be checking luggage, try a consolidator. Definitely check lots of websites.
