  • my husband and 3 year old son both twitch/jump really bad when they are going to sleep and then once in awhile during their sleep id say its your body relaxing and probably dreaming....i know ive woken up to a jump and knew what i was dreaming

  • Its in inborn reflex. They have several of them. That one is called the startle reflex.
