Why is my son sleeping more often lately than he has been?

The past couple of days, my 2 1/2 month old has been sleeping a lot. He is teething so he always cries when he is awake.

  • Mine too hes been sleeping until 10:30 even though he goes to bed at 9. Usually he wakes up at 8:30 9. He was getting a new tooth in, but now im starting to think its just the weather.

  • Babies sleeping habits will change a lot as they grow. There is a growth spurt right around 3 months, so that's probably it.
I know with my son it seemed like as soon as he got settled into a routine he'd change his sleep pattern. I just let him take the lead since he knows when he's sleepy rather than trying to stick to a schedule.
