Is there size 2-3 underwear without characters on it and if so, where on earth can I find it?

I'm supposed to take my daughter underwear shopping this afternoon (it's a reward for bouncing back from a little potty regression, and she's really excited)... but I really don't want to buy anything with Elmo or the Disney Princesses on it. I'm not trying to start a debate about the characters, I'm just wondering if anyone has seen such underwear and if so, where? At Target I already got her the only pattern of Circo brand underwear they carry in her size... I had hoped that department stores like Macy's would carry a Hanes brand basic colors kind in her size, but they were worse than Target. Any ideas?

  • I'd try Walmart or Kohls. Your best bet is to try Fruit of the Loom or Hanes. They usually have some packs that have a few solid colored ones & a few with designs such as stripes.

  • Why exactly does it matter? Doesn't your dd like some characters, most kids is HER underwear ya know, a prize for her success.

  • Anon 324: Does it really matter to you why it matters to me? It's MY money and MY child.

  • If you haven't already, then check wal-mart. I have boys so I don't know if they carry plain girls undies or not but they do carry white boys briefs. If they carry them for boys they probably carry them for girls too. Good Luck.

  • We bought ours at Target. I also then bought some days of the week underwear at Gymboree. I love those. So does my kid. Not all toddlers like characters, and not all parents want to shell out money for more expensive character crap. Print undies are fun, cute, and cheaper than the princess undies.

  • For my son I got training pants by Gerber I think and they were blue and some had stripes and stuff on them. They were thicker. I think I got them at Burlington. Otherwise maybe old Navy would carry something. If nothing else try kid stores like Gap kids.

  • My mom got some from either Target or KMart that have strips, flowers, hearst, and words on them. Some just plain colors too. I think they and walmart have a fairly similair selection.
