Chamomile Tea for Babies?

I've heard of giving babies chamomile tea for upset stomach, colic, etc. and have read about it in What To Expect the First Year. However, it doesn't say how old the baby needs to be and how much is safe or how frequently. Anyone know?

  • If you use gripe water it has chamomile in it among other things that help calm a baby.

  • my doctor suggested it early on when my daughter had colic like you wouldn't believe. I think i gave her 2 oz at a time, but for me i didn't see any noticeable changes for me to continue giving it to her.
