  • Hot/cold. Hide a toy (like a doll or a small stuffy or whatever). They have to hunt through the whole house to find it with only the instruction "hot" or "cold" to find it.

Hallway Race - we have a long hallway from the back door to the front door. They have to run there and back. I added hurdles as they got older (like a stuffy or something soft).

Obstacle Clean Up Race - Go to the play room, put 5 toys where they belong, then race to the front door and touch the doorknob, then go grab your clean, folded laundry and race it to your room, then pick up a duster and dust your assigned piece of furniture, then race to the bathroom and get your hands washed then race to the table for lunch. First one there gets to pick dessert. Seriously, it works.

Yoga. Go to Yoga Journal's website and check out the poses. Arm balances, inversions and backbends are the most fun.

    Good luck!
