At what age can you finally tell your babies eye color?

  • I'd give it six months, although my son's eyes were brown the minute he came out. Guess what? They're still dark brown. It depends on the baby.

  • past 4 months my babys eyes were light colored looked like they were gonna be green then 4 months came and they turmed light brown

  • I would say around 6 to 8 mos then you will be definate my son's eyes went from blue, to green to hazel so it does take sometime.

  • My doc says about 3 years old their eye color is pretty set.

  • I know that personally mine changed at age 12. I may have been an exception to the rule.

  • I've routinely read that it is around 1 year old. It should definitely be apparent what her/his eye color is by then.

    My daughter is going on 7 months old, and her eyes still vary from dark gray, blue, hazel-brown, and green with yellow. Her eye color is everywhere!
