What are some ways you ensure you stay healthy?

  • Eat very few animal products. Eat lots of whole grains, fruits, vegetables and legumes. Take a probiotic and vitamin D supplement. Drink lots of water. Try to get lots of sleep.

  • we drink lots of water (i also nurse my twins, so i have to). i make sure the kids get lots of rest. we try to get fresh air everyday even if for 5 minutes. always wash our hands when we come home from public places. we stay away from processed foods. we eat our fruits and veggies everyday. my 3 kids have not been sick once this winter (knock on wood).

  • we eat well (few to no preservatives in food, don't drink milk, drink lots of water, eat lots of veggies and fruit, take fish oil and probiotics) we sleep well (unless a baby has us up:)) exercise well (fresh air), pray well, and love well...we believe good health is all about a balanced life! Life is not always easy, but the less stress we have the healthier we can be. My kids have never been on any medication. They are still young, only one in kindergarten, but no missed school yet. we get 1or 2 colds a year, but nothing serious. we don't use hand sanitizer, we don't worry about germs. we try to enjoy life!
