For those of you who had real Christmas trees..

How did you dispose of it? Does your community have a certain place where you can take them, or does your garbage man just pick it up?

  • We drive them to the local park where they have a recycling drop off

  • They had drop off sites in our town, but we missed the drop off dates. We took it to my parents rural home and burned it.

  • Our trash men pick it up this week only. We also have a drop off location.

  • Today is the tree is still out in front by the curb. They are late,I guess.

  • There are a couple of parks around here where you can drop them off and then they make mulch out of them. I think they give the mulch away for free, but I'm not sure. We also have green waste curbside pickup so we could also put it out to be picked up by the trashmen, too.

  • I don't use a real tree, but around here I've seen people just sit them out by the curb and the city picks them up.
