When is the best time to have a Home pregnancy test taken ?

Just wanted to know this!!

  • first urination in the morning, urine is most concentrated.

  • I struggled with this when we were trying to get pregnant the first time. My issue was I wasn't a "regular" cycle kinda gal. I'd get my period every 20-35 days. What a nuisance when you're trying to get pregnant. It took us over a year the 1st go around.

    But... if you're an every 28 days kind of lady, then check 14 or 15 days AFTER your period is due. so if it's due on the 1st, and you're late, then test on the 15th or 16th.

  • Well i agree with Gailll.. but when i found i was preggo i got a positive on the day my period was due.. :)

  • It also depends on the test, each one is a little different (some claim they can tell you 5 days earlier, etc.) so I would say read the instructions on the test. But good luck!

  • I have had 6 pregnancies and never had to wait a week after I missed my period. MOST pregnancy tests will detect a pregnancy after you are just a day late.
