  • In my case....homework, speech therapy, playing learning games together, letting him play with sibling, or by self--or some combination thereof. :o)

  • When I had one that age, she went to an afterschool program (ASR) until my spouse or I picked her up. Then it was snack and workbook on the bus, dinner, bed (homework was done during ASR)

  • My kids do their homework and then just do whatever they want. They don't need me to entertain them.

  • For kindergarten, it was homework, and then play time. She entertained herself, really. Sometimes, we'd play board games together, or she would play on the computer or play video games.

  • I have 2 daughters, one in kindergarten and one in 2nd grade. After school, they may have a small snack, take off their shoes, put away their coats, etc, then get started on homework. After homework is complete, they are usually allowed to play, either indoors or outside if the weather is nice, until dinner time.

  • My DD goes to half day kindergarten, so she gets done at 1040am. We spend the day various ways. She usually has a reading magazine for homework, then we may run errands, go to the park, make lunch, sometimes she naps, we watch cartoons, play games.

  • Wow, your kids get homework in kindergarten? My son gets it on Fridays only and it's just reading a little letter book that they color and write in during the week.

My son plays, mostly inside since it's been so cold. He also helps with getting supper and setting the table. Usually after supper we do something fun like Wii or a board game. On occasion he gets TV.

  • shet gets outta school at 230, i let her play on the playground for about 15 minutes, then we walk home, once home she has a snack, and we talk about her day, then we do her "homework" (she brings a different book home everyday that we have to read together for 10-15 minutes) then she watches tv or plays the wii, if its nice she goes outside to play while i make supper...we eat at 5ish, then shes in the bath or shower by 6..out by 630..then we will play something, whether its a board game, or colouring, or playdoh, then at 7 she gets to watch tv and she usually eats some yogurt, then shes in bed by varies, shes in bed anywhere between 7-745 (on school nights) ohhh but during the nicer seasons..after supper we always take the dogs for a walk. FUN FUN FUN!!
