Anybody have polka dots or stripes painyed on their daughter's room?

I am looking to redo my 4 year olds bedroom 7 was thinking about doing one wall in stripes or polka dots. If you have either, what kind of bedding do you have? I like polka dot bedding but would polka dots on the walls be too much?

  • i don't know if this helps but i went on amazon and looked up pink and brown polka dot stickers for the wall that peel off and on. then it recommended different stuff for a room that matched. i did a bedding that had some polka dots as well as the regualr colors. it didn't look bad at all. i liked these colors togethr. i'm sure you can find the polka dots in any color you want.

Thats how we did it. The comforter isnt shown but its the same color as the stripes on the wall and its striped. The babies crib bedding looked like mine.

  • We love polka dots or "pokey dots" as we say! My dd's room is Shabby Chic style. I have a comforter on her bed that has polka dot texture on cool, and we have a polka dot lamp, round hat box, and pillow.

*Tip - You can put polka dots on anything by buying your choice of colored acrylic paint at craft stores and using the end of an ink pen or paint brush to make the dots. I love to decorate. Have fun!

  • walmart and belks have some cute bedding in both stripes and polka dots. Hobby lobby have some great accessories for that decor. I would do the peel and stick dots if you do them and do the big ones if you do it. too many dots would over do the room.
