Any good FREE online witch/Pagan/goddess schools?

Most of what I can find charge a fee, and I believe that any teacher worth his/her salt would never charge for services. Materials, maybe, but not services.

  • Any GOOD school of this type is free! And there are a few...

Witch School is the most popular but isn't free. The classes are free only after you pay a membership fee. This is because the school is actually that, a physical school, and they keep everything up and running by donations and membership support. Check Ebay, the memberships can usually be bought for as little as $5 or $35 through their site and it's life long.

  • There is a free online tarot course. http://www.learntarot.com/

DH is a member of the Golden Dawn. They accept donations. The leaders of the group work 24/7 to teach initiates and new members, so without donations, they would be homeless and hungry. They are modest people, but many in the order give generously to keep their work alive.

  • I think in this case, youtube is a great resource. There are all kinds of people like that giving lessons and you might even try finding someone online who was willing to mentor you.

  • Why wouldnt' there be a charge? You're paying for someone else's knowledge and time.

  • Anon- There shouldn't be a charge because these are religious classes. Would you pay for a bible study? You may make a donation but you wouldn't expect to be charged. Pagan studies or classes are no different. Knowledge should always be shared freely and gladly, if it's not, you need a new tutor/teacher.
