  • When my son got ear infections at that age he was fine until I laid him down and then he'd cry and cry. He never pulled his ears or ran a fever. I just know that when he cried when ever he was lying down to get him into the doctor. But most kids run fevers and pull ears. I don't know about home remedies, but Tylenol will help with the pain.

  • Warm compress against the ear to help ease pain and open up canal. Ibuprofen to reduce swelling and ease pain. I've heard of olive oil in the ear (warmed) but I don't know if it is safe for a baby.
