MIL...Is this weird?

I've known her um 12 years. She will not come to visit her grandaughter alone. She always brings either her sister or her friend. Always.

  • If you guys live farther than 15 minutes grandma is horrible with driving anywhere over 15 minutes alone....go and visit her sometime if you think she must have one on one time.

  • It seems odd that she is NEVER alone when she visits.. does she do other things alone? or is it just visiting you she needs back up?

  • Some people just don't like going places alone. I don't see anything odd about it

  • Maybe her driving skills aren't to par or some other medical condition she hasn't told you guys.

  • Maybe she isn't comfortable there? Or maybe she wants to show her childchild off to her friends?
I myself hate going anywhere alone. I was that way before I had kids, but after having someone even follow me to the bathroom for about 9 years now, I'm lost when no one is around (even in my own home, I don't enjoy being alone most of the time).
