  • She wrote asburgers, not assburgers. I think this is a legit question.

But no, my child does not. I know many that do as I am a teacher. Do you need advice, resources?

  • It's Aspergers, not asburgers. Are you looking to get your ass kicked?

  • No, my kids were skipped. But I have it. I prefer to just say autism, though. One, there are words that irk me to use, and Asperger's is one of them; and two, 9 out of 10 times, you still have to say it's autism anyway, because people don't know what it is. And then, like the anon mentioned, there are the people who want to get hung up on making ass burger jokes to the point you just want to smack 'em repeatedly, cuz, yeah, that doesn't ever get old...NOT. (Not saying at all that that is what you were doing, OP.)

  • If you pronounce it the proper way, there should be no trouble. It's AUSperger not ASSperger. And yes, my youngest child and I are both AS people.

  • Yes, my oldest child has AS. If you need support or have questions there are quite a few Aspergers/Autism/ASD groups here on CM.
