  • They call it the terrible twos for a reason lol. That's the age when children first experience anger, frustration, and learn what the word no means and how much they don't like it. He's working through trying to figure out how to handle these emotions. This could very well be it provided that nothing is wrong with him. Don't let him scream for too long, he'll make himself sick. Try distracting him by smiling and clapping your hands. Maybe he'll join you. Don't give him treats or toys while he acts like that though, because he'll think that's a reward for that kind of behavior. If all else fails, put him (and keep him) in time out for 2 minutes. (one minute per year of age) good luck!

  • Every great once in a while my youngest will throw a tantrum and there is nothing to do but just let her work it out on her own.

  • Have you tried holding him and singing to him? Perhaps he's in pain and not just throwing a tantrum.

  • try holding him or walking him around sometimes ppl think their still big kids and don't need holding or cuddling.... but sometimes mommas touch and some soothing words who cares what they are sounds like he wants attention just see if that works.
