  • No, Most 6 year olds are in first grade and there is not a time for them to nap after school.

  • I have a 5 year old who doesn't take a nap anymore but it's because he doesn't need it. There are some days that I do put him down for a nap but it's because he is cranky and needs some rest. His Kindergarten class does have an hour of rest time where all the kids have to lay down for a little and rest.

  • mine stopped when they were 2 and 2 1/2. I made them have quiet time after that fo an hour or two each day until they started school

  • Not many six year olds nap. I agree with the other posters, my kids stopped naps at about 3-4.

  • Like another poster stated, most 6 years old are in school at that age. I would hope they are not napping at school..LOL
