Any tips on how I can keep my car door and locks from freezing?! (other than moving to Florida:-)

It is always the driver side door that freezes it seems.

  • lol...moving to FL won't do it right now. We're at 28 degrees right now. I do know they make de-icers, and I read in a magazine once that you can put hand sanitizer (one with alcohol) on the key and then insert the key into the lock and it will melt the ice. Hope that helps.

  • lol My cousin was bragging how warm florida was compared to here and Kansas but atleast it isn't windy as texas and Oklahoma...makes it more unbearable. 28 degrees isn't that bad w/out wind.
