my 11 month old has started recently screaming at the top of her lungs when she is mad, wants something, or is tired. it is getting really bad.

what can i do to stop this behavior? we have tried putting her in her room with the door closed so she realizes that she will not get attention from this action, we have told her every single time she does it no, dont yell or shout, we have tried to re direct her attention. nothing works. any suggestions?

  • when my daughter was 11 months she would do that and i would put the gate up and walk away she knew that i wasnt going to be around her when she was like that and that i would come back as soon as she calmed down...Except for the tired part i didnt do that when she was tired because being tired hurts some times with the burning eyes and such..then i would just hold her in a darker room and calmly talk to her...at this age i also tried the blowing in the face thing and it pissed her off even more so i dont do that anymore
