her socks were too tight...

i had to buy my 3 month old daughter new socks b/c the old ones were all too small. well the new ones fit around her foot but were a little snug on her ankle/leg. so i stretched them out and put them on (i just figured since they were new they'd be a bit snug). well i was changing her and noticed a ring around the sock line that was dark red so i took them off. its been 2 days w/o them and its still there. it looks like possible popped blood cells if thats even possible. i feel HORRIBLE like i wanna cry. she doesn't seem to mind. she has not cried and doesn't do anything if it rubs up against it. will this go away? has this happened to anyone else before?

i get a mark too but this is a 3 day old ring (brownish/dark red) like irritated blood vessels. i feel so bad but it doesn't bother her at all. i just hope it goes away. its been three days and hasn't gotten any better at all.

  • if it doesnt hurt her, she should be okey, babies are new, so they may take longer to return to normal.
